I build wood composite paddled craft--mostly kayaks, canoes, and pirogues in strip or stitch and glue (S&G).  As time passes I'll get this site setup so you can see the complete line I'll offer which may also include plans for certain boats.  I also build boats designed by other fine and proven designeners--some links are shown on the right.  My shop is a one man shop, not a corporate conglomeration.  That means I'm pretty flexible in what I can do.  I have developed certain designs over a period of many years.  I'm currently in the process of getting some of them out of my head and down on paper.  Recently I've been working on long distance, or marathon, boats.  This has been a very interesting process.  While I have built boats for many years I never did so with the idea of selling them--or developing a website.  Prototypes for pictures and testing are in process.  There is a photo gallery showing recent prototypes as well as some built for other people.  While I'm in the process of getting this business up and running (including several websites) I've told very few people about this site.  So--if you've found me by surfing the internet I salute your perseverance.  If you have any questions at all please don't hesitate to contact me at:
